If you’ve been around Natalie Marie Photography for a while, you may remember that blogging used to be a part of this business.
And then… life happened.
Honestly? I don’t even know that there was one single reason I stopped. At the time, blogging felt like a lot of work with very little return.
I spent hours putting posts together, and it often felt like no one was actually reading them. Social media became the easier, faster place to show my work, connect, and keep moving.
Then somewhere along the way, life got fuller in the very best ways—including becoming a mom. And just like that, the blog quietly faded into the background. But so much has changed in the last 7–8 years. Not just in business—but in me.
My photography style has evolved.
The experience I create for my clients has changed.
The heart behind this business has grown deeper.
What started as a photography business has become something so much more personal to me.
Natalie Marie Photography feels like one of my babies—the kind you pour your heart into, nurture, dream about, and want to see grow into something beautiful and meaningful.
And if I’m being completely honest?
I want to grow.
Not just in bookings. Not just in visibility. But in purpose. I want to build a business that thrives. One that supports my family. One that fills my cup creatively. One that feels deeply meaningful. One that reflects the life and business I truly want to build.
And that’s where The Natalie Marie Journal comes in. This space is getting a fresh start right alongside this business.
Here, you’ll find more than just pretty photos.
You’ll find:
- Family session planning tips
- Senior session inspiration
- Location guides around Sheboygan, Plymouth, Kohler, and beyond
- Real session stories
- Helpful answers to the questions clients ask most
- A little behind-the-scenes heart from this business I love so much

I’m so excited to be here again—but this time with more intention, more heart, and a much clearer vision.
